Homework Help Sessions
What is Homework Help?
Homework help consists of receiving one-on-one assistance and/or instruction from a CERTIFIED EDUCATOR in the following skills for ANY SUBJECT:
- ANY SKILL that a child is struggling with
- Homework
- Classwork
- Projects
- Online Assignments
- Studying for Tests
- Preparation for Georgia Milestones or State Exams
Homework help will be available VIRTUALLY through Zoom. The difference between homework help and tutoring, is that students do not have to log in weekly or be committed to a set day or time to receive help during homework help sessions. Also, homework help can be scheduled in 20-minute increments/sessions instead of hour-long increments/sessions, although hour-long sessions are available when needed.
Students will only log in when they need help on a specific skill or assignment. However, students DO NOT have to have an assignment to work on during homework help sessions. You can schedule a session if your child is struggling or needs help with a particular skill (for example: multiplication, fractions, addition, reading comprehension, writing constructed responses, etc.). Homework help is ONLY available on certain days of the week at specific times; and sessions can only be scheduled during the hours listed in the schedule below. Homework Help Pricing
Homework help is priced at only $15 for each 20-minute virtual ZOOM session. For example, if your child needs 20 minutes of help, it will cost $15. If your child needs 40 minutes of help, it will cost $30. A full hour of help will cost $45.
Please be advised that securing a session is based on availability in the homework help schedule. Once the hours for each day are booked, your child will have to wait until a session opens up on another day to get help. Homework help sessions are available on a FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED BASIS, so try to book sessions as soon as you can!
Weekly Homework Help Schedule
The following schedule is currently available for virtual homework help sessions EVERY WEEK (times are subject to change):
Mondays: 8:15 PM-10:00 PM
Tuesdays: 9:00 PM-10:00 PM
Wednesdays: 8:00 PM-9:00 PM
Thursdays: 7:15 PM-10:00 PM
Saturdays: 8:00 AM-11:00 AM
