As a certified teacher who chose to homeschool my daughter, I completely understand parents who want to be in control of their child's education. However, I also know that sometimes parents still need insight or help with certain aspects of the homeschooling journey. As a result, I am now offering homeschool services during the day to help students and/or parents on this journey!

Hours Available
The following hours are currently available to schedule any of the undermentioned homeschool services:
Mondays: 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Tuesdays: 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Wednesdays: 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Thursdays: 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Homeschool services offered
Group Classes
This service is for homeschooling pods/groups looking for a teacher to teach specific skills to a group of three or more children. Parents have the option of choosing the skills and/or subject they want to be taught in each class. Instructional time will consist of hands-on activities and lessons that can be taught virtually or face-to-face. Each price listed is per hour of instructional time.
Virtual classes
$15 per child/per hour
Virtual classes will be taught via Zoom, and all materials needed for the hands-on activities for each class will be given out ahead of time. Each class must have a MINIMUM of three students to qualify for the $15 per child price.
Face-to-Face Classes (in my classroom)
$20 per child/ per hour
Parents have the option of bringing their child to me for group classes and paying the same amount as the virtual classes. All materials and manipulatives for the lessons will be provided. Each class must have a MINIMUM of three students to qualify for the $15 per child price.
Face-to-face classes (Meet up at a location)
$25 per child/ per hour
This type of class is for parents who would prefer me to travel to them or a specific location to teach a group class. All materials and manipulatives for the lesson will be provided. Each class must have a MINIMUM of three students, and the meet up location must be within 20 minutes of driving distance in order to qualify for the $25 per child price.
Tutoring
Tutoring services are available for students who need extra help or strategies to use to solve different skills when working on homeschooling assignments. This help includes one-on-one assistance so the student will have undivided, individualized attention for the entire session. Parents can schedule virtual or face-to-face tutoring for one session or more based on the needs of their child.
Virtual Tutoring
$25 for 30 minutes/ $45 an hour
Virtual tutoring and enrichment are available using Zoom, Skype, or Google Meet. Using the share screen and editing functions of these programs, students will be able to share their work and receive help or instruction during a session just as if they were sitting face-to-face. In addition, I will be able to share activities, offer help, and annotate on the screen for the student to see in real time.
Face-to-Face tutoring
$30 for 30 minutes/ $50 an hour
Individual face-to-face tutoring and enrichment is available for parents who are willing to travel to Jonesboro, GA. In face-to-face sessions, students will be able to work on and enrich any skills they need assistance with, one-on-one with me. All materials will be provided.
Educational Consulting
As an experienced educator with three degrees in education, over a decade of experience teaching in public schools, and experience with the rules/laws of homeschooling in Georgia; I have a wide range of knowledge in education. Thus, educational consulting services include, but are not limited to, the following:
General Information
$10 for 15 minutes
This service is for parents who are looking for general information about ANYTHING educational. Each 15-minute session can consist of questions about homeschooling, testing, standards and skills, and/or basic educational information.
Educational advocate
$45 an hour
This service is for parents who need more direct assistance with a learning path for their child. As an educational advocate, I would help with all educational needs. This could be developing lesson plans, formative assessments, graphic organizers, curriculum and/or schedules to help parents teach their child. This could also be modeling for parents how to teach a skill to their child, as well as helping figure out what manipulatives, books, or materials to use to enhance learning.
